03 Apr Alittle bit of Social sewing……..
March and April have been very busy months for Steven Hitchcock. We were asked by Jason Atherton, www.jasonatherton.co.uk/jason-atherton/ to make suits for his managers and waist coats for his bar staff at his new restaurant, City Social in Tower 42. www.citysociallondon.com
How could we say no! Of course, we are delighted to make the suits and waistcoats, it has and still is hard work. Working long hours in not a lot of time! However, I can tell you that the suits are made of tweed, from the Glenroyal bunch by, Harrisons of Edinburgh. www.harrisonsofedinburgh.com/collections.html Take a look at the collection, and have a guess which 4 patterns we have chosen!
The waistcoats are made of Donegal tweed, by W. Bill. We have chosen 3 different herringbone colours, green, brown and blue for the bar managers. www.wbill.co.uk/
The restaurant will be opening in May, so perhaps if you would like to gaze at bespoke suits while eating glorious food, then make your booking……….quick!
Toodle pip! Celia.
