20 May A very sunny first day in New York………..
It’s the first day of my Spring New York trip, and it finally feels like spring to me its hot hot hot!
Living in London the last month has been nothing other then wet wet wet, so this weathers great!
I arrived last evening and set straight away to changing the suite around to look more like a Tailor’s shop, with my cloth samples and suit fittings.
I have been busy this morning meeting with friends and clients. Sunday is always one of the busiest days for me. This trip I have been given a different suite this time with my balcony looking down 50th Street towards the river. What a great day to be outside, my clients can now see the cloth samples out side on the balcony, and seeing them in the true light makes a big difference. Take a look at my view.
One of my friends below is out on the balcony wearing a bespoke shirt and trousers made from Scabal brown corduroy cloth that he commissioned with me last trip. I don’t think he will be able to wear it any time soon as it is a little heavy for this time of year, he already has the same in black.
